The beach is sheltered by a large rocky southern headland creating a calm area for swimming, beach-combing and just soaking up the tropical warmth. The beach is clean and wide, and has picnic tables, play equipment, and toilet facilities.
Casuarinas trees and coconut palms line the beachfront, with views out over the sea; north to Double Island and Palm Cove.
