Kewarra Beach Kewarra Beach, approximately 20 minutes north of Cairns City, one of the more private northern beaches. Kewarra is a largely residential area aporting some of the most majestic beachfront residences in the region.

This creates a very personal ambience.

Kewarra is the most southern of three beaches that share this stretch of sand; Palm Cove, Clifton Beach, and itself, Kewarra Beach. The beach is sheltered by a large rocky southern headland creating a calm area for swimming, beach-combing and just soaking up the tropical warmth. The beach is clean and wide, and has picnic tables, play equipment, and toilet facilities.

Casuarinas trees and coconut palms line the beachfront, with views out over the sea; north to Double Island and Palm Cove.
Kewarra Beach is also the location of one of Cairns’ finest and most intimate resorts.

Kewarra Beach Resort boasts an absoloute beachfront location, spectacular gardens, fine dining and luxury bungalows.
