At night, Mackay sports clubs are busy, friendly establishments that welcome travellers to enjoy their relaxed atmosphere. Expect to find live entertainment, raffles, poker machines, Keno, TAB and pool tables, along with essential bar facilities and a wonderful menu in the bistro section of any sports club.

Each Mackay sports club has at least two different bars in the one building. The bars are usually located in betting rooms and have a good range of beer on tap, as well as a vast selection of wines, spirits and liquores to choose from. While enjoying a refreshing local or imported drink, there is usually a wide screen TV to watch, poker machines to have a flutter on or a pool table to parade skills on. Take away from bars is another service provided to the public, but is usually unavailable after midnight.

In the bistro section of sports clubs, a great menu including some of Mackay’s local specialties can be expected. From lunch to dinner, 7 days a week, themed nights in sports clubs may comprise of grill night, steak night, blackboard night and A La Carte night. On these particular nights, the themed food is considered cheaper than usual.
